An underperforming Angola side stand in their way in their final Group A match at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium on Sunday.
The Blue Sharks kicked off their campaign with a hard-fought 0-0 draw with South Africa before recording a 1-1 draw with Morocco.
At a press conference ahead of the tie, Antunes said: "This game is crucial for the two teams as victory could take us through to the quarterfinal.
"We will do our best to win the game, which will be difficult against a good Angola team who parade some talented players who can create trouble for us."
But Antunes will not underestimate Palancas Negras who he feels are yet to show their true potential in South Africa.
"You haven't seen the real Angola yet, they are a very strong side," he
concluded.
