------------------------------------------------------------

Zambia

Kennedy Mweene: Had a solid game overall, will be disappointed about letting a goal in, but scoring the equalising penalty will make up for that. 8/10

Joseph Musonda: Got forward well and often, but his positioning was all wrong for the Nigerian goal. 5/10

Stophira Sunzu: Had a good game in defence, clashed with Emineke a few times, but went missing for the goal. 6/10

Davis Nkausa: Had a quiet game in defence, didn't make any noticeable mistakes. 5/10

Emmanuel Mbola: Had a pretty average game, did what he had to, got forward on occasion and defended moderately well. 5/10

Nathan Sinkala: Was very involved in the Zambian attacks, got in the box well, but his final ball was lacking on the day. 6/10

Isaac Chansa: Had a good first half, got in the box and created chances, but went missing in the second. 6/10

Rainford Kalaba: Had a golden opportunity to score, but couldn't get it past the keeper. Didn't do too bad in defence but couldn't find the right final ball. 5/10

Chisamba Lungu: Had a storming first half and was involved in most of Chipolopolo's attacks. Had a horrid second half before being subbed, and was at fault for the Super Eagles' goal. 4/10

Emmanuel Mayuka: Was a bright spark for the Zambians for most of the match, was less involved when Nigeria took control, but had a good game overall. 7/10

Christopher Katongo: Had a disappointing match overall, failed to really impose himself on the proceedings before being subbed. 5/10

Substitutes

Collins Mbesuma: Will have nightmares over his soft shot at goal when it looked easier to score, had an indifferent game otherwise. 5/10

Jonas Sakuwaha: Was quiet for the short while he was on the pitch, didn't do too much to excite. 5/10

Mukuka Mulenga: Didn't have the desired impact on the match, but had a solid cameo appearance. 5/10

Nigeria

Vincent Enyeama: Had a good game in goal, made a few crucial saves, but will be miffed about conceding the penalty to his opposite number. 7/10

Ogenyi Onazi: Had a decent game, but was at fault for giving away the soft penalty towards the end of the match. 4/10

Kenneth Omeruo: Had a good game in defence, had a handle on much that was thrown at him. 6/10

Godfrey Obobona: Had a quiet game, made no noteworthy errors and was mostly solid in defence. 6/10

Uwa Echiejile: Will not have had a game to remember, did enough to get by, but not much else. 5/10

Mikel John Obi: Made a few noteworthy errors in the first half, but put Emenike through to score the Nigerian goal. 6/10

Fengor Ogude: Was mostly missing for the match, didn't do a lot right, or wrong. 5/10

Nosa Igiebor: Had an average game in the midfield, was good on the ball, passed the ball around well. 6/10

Ahmed Musa: Was lively at the start of the match, a real threat down either flank, but missed some guilt-edged chances. 6/10

Emmanuel Emenike: Had a good game overall. Was kept quiet in the first half, but was much improved in the second and got the goal. 7/10

Victor Moses: Had a good game for his debut at the AFCON, made good runs and created good chances before being replaced. 7/10

Substitutes

Nwankwo Obiorah: Didn't do anything eye-catching in his 15-minute cameo appearance. 5/10

Ideye Brown: Didn't really pick up the pace of the match as Zambia were pushing for the goal. 4/10

Ikechukwu Uche: Wasn't on the pitch long enough to have any real impact. 3/10
