Niger:

Kassaly Daouda: Didn't have to do too much against the Leopards, but did well to make some crucial saves. 7/10

Mohamed Bachar: Had a quiet game on the right of defence, did well to deal with LuaLua in the first half. 6/10

Mohammed Chicoto:Did well to keep Congo at bay for much of the match, had his hands full with Mbokani, but handled the pressure well . 6/10

Koffi Dan Kowa:Strong in defence, Dan Kowa had to be on his best to handle the Congo attack. 7/10

Fatoghoma Kourouma : Marshalled the defence well, but made the odd mistake. Made life difficult for the Congo forwards. 6/10

Ouwo Moussa Maazou: Got forward a lot, and was central to the Niger counter-attack, but couldn't really find the target all night. 5/10

Issiaka Koudize: Koudize might be inexperienced at this level, but showed composure to break up a number of the Leopards' attacks. 5/10

Mohamed Soumaila: Was composed in the midfield, got forward well, but couldn't find the right pass in the final third. 6/10

Karim Lancina: Had several opportunities to get forward in attack, but didn't quite have the vision to find the right ball. 5/10

Boubacar Issoufou: Got down the wing well, but ultimately couldn't find the right ball to craft out good scoring chances. 6/10

Modibo Sidibe: Didn't do too much right or wrong, but hitting the post in the first five minutes will give him nightmares tonight. 4/10

Substitutes:

Boubacar Talatou: The half-time sub didn't have too much of an impact, had a golden chance to score at the end, but didn't test the keeper. 5/10

William N'Gounou: Didn't do an awful lot in his 15 minutes on the pitch, besides getting booked for shirt pulling shortly after coming on. 4/10

Alhassane Dante: Didn't have sufficient time on the pitch to have too much of an impact. 3/10

DR Congo

Muteba Kidiaba: Made a few crucial saves, but didn't have too much to do on the night. 7/10

Mpeko Issama: Got forward often, but couldn't really pick out his teammates when needed. 5/10

Larrys Mabiala: Marshalled the defence well, had no problem keeping the Niger attack at bay. 7/10

Cedric Mongongu: Had a quiet game in defence, didn't struggle to deal with the Menas attack. 6/10

Kiritsho Kasusula: Got forward on the overlap often, but couldn't find the range to pick out Mbokani in the middle. 6/10

Cedric Makiadi: Was the midfield general, had a good passing range, but ultimately to little effect. 6/10

Youssouf Mulumbu: Linked the play well, got forward on occasion, but missed a guilt-edged chance to win the game. 5/10

Mulota Kabangu: Was lively down the flanks, tested the Niger defence on several attacks, put in good crosses to find Mbokani in the middle. 8/10

Tresor Mputu: Failed to live up to the expectations he created with his performance in the first game. 4/10

Dieumerci Mbokani: Was a constant threat on the counter-attack, but didn't test the Niger defence and goalkeeper enough. 6/10

Lomana LuaLua: Had a disappointing game overall, was lively at the start, but failed to keep up the pace before being subbed. /410

Substitutes:

Deo Kanda: Came on at half-time, but was relatively quiet for the duration of his time spent on the pitch. 5/10

Alain Kaluyituka Dioko: Came on 10 minutes after the break for Kabangu, but couldn't have the same impact as the man he replaced. 4/10

Zola Matumona: Came on for the captain, got forward well, but couldn't make too much of a difference. 6/10
