The Leopards showed plenty of mettle as they came back from two-goals down to force a 2-2 draw against four-time AFCON winners Ghana in their opening match at the weekend.

The Mena, meanwhile, kicked off the tournament with a tightly contested 1-0 defeat to Mali, with Seydou Keita doing the damage for the Eagles.

Those results mean the DR Congo sit second in Group B, two points behind leaders Mali, while Niger are bottom but definitely not out with two matches still left in the group stages.

In team news, Niger will again be relying on the likes of Moussa Maazou, Koffi Dan Kowa, Abdul Karim Lacina and Issoufou Boubacar Garba to pull the strings in attack.

For DR Congo, Dieumerci Mbokani will be hoping to continue his stunning performance in their opener after winning and scoring the equalising penalty against the Black Stars.

Tressor Mputu, Youssoup Mulumbu and veteran Lomana Tressor Lua Lua will also be tasked with pulling the strings in the middle of the park.
