These are the players who caught the eye on day 4 of the competition.

Tunisia v Algeria:

Sofiane Feghouli was undoubtedly the Desert Foxes' star man, as the Algerians dominated the majority of proceedings in their group D clash with west African rivals Tunisia.

Plying his trade in the Spanish Primera Division for Valencia, the attacking midfielder has drawn parallels with French legend Zinedine Zidane.

While the 23-year-old still has a lot to live up to, he was clearly Algeria's main threat on the night. The French-born attacker was involved in pretty much every Algerian attack, central to linking the play between midfield and the strikers.

Feghouli's movement on, and off, the ball was excellent, as he took up attacking positions through the middle and on either flank to keep the Tunisian defence guessing.

Ivory Coast v Togo:

Togo number 17 Serge Gakpe was one of the stand-out players of the match, despite the fact that he was on the losing side.

The French-born Togolese winger's pace was too much to handle at times and he had the skill to take on defenders on either flank to get into attacking positions.

The 25-year-old currently plays his football in France for Ligue 2 side FC Nantes, and has had spells with AS Monaco and Standard Liege in Belgium.

The forward linked up well with Emmanuel Adebayor and Jonathan Ayite up front, and his pace on the counter-attack gave the Ivory Coast plenty to think about.
