South Africa looked flat in the curtain raiser against Cape Verde at the weekend, with the host nation having to settle for a point following the goalless draw in Johannesburg.

Bafana next face Angola at the Moses Mabhida Stadium on Wednesday, and 1996 AFCON winning coach Barker has told the players to let it all hang out.

"I just think that if we can just turn it around and get the players to settle easy. Let them play off the cuff with not too many instructions," Barker told Football411.

"Let them take the responsibility and you will find that everything will fall into place, believe me. We'll get the goal that counts and the whole thing will take off."

Barker also offered his thoughts on possible changes ahead of the clash against the Black Antelopes, which kicks off at 17:00.

"Katlego Mphela has to start for me. He's right up there in terms of strike rate with Benni and Shaun Bartlett and I think he can get us a goal," Barker concluded.
