The Blue Sharks drew 0-0 with Bafana Bafana in the first game of the tournament while Morocco was held to a goalless draw too by Angola.

Ironically, Cape Verde is the best ranked FIFA/CAF nation in the group and is 15th in Africa, followed by 17placed Morocco, 19th placed Angola and South Africa in 22nd place.

Antunes believes they can make the next stage as they become better with each game.

"I think we'll face the best team in the group, that is Morocco," he said.

"I think there's a lot of euphoria, but we know our real capacity, the value of our team, the value of the opponents.

"Regarding the match against Morocco, we will be prepared the same way, with the same humility, the same organization and we'll try win.

"Our team is going better, now we have to get points to try stay in the top two to get to the quarter-finals.

"Let's face the game with respect, without fear, always playing to score and if we can win, it will be even better."

Babanca and Toni Varela picked up knocks against Bafana and are in a race to be fit for Wednesday's clash.
