Tunisia
Moez Ben Cherifa: Held his own between the sticks, but was almost embarassed from long-range on occasions had the shots been on target. 6/10
Bilel Ifa: Battled to contain a determined attacking front-line from Algeria. 6/10
Walid Hichri: Had his hands full dealing with Islam Slimani inside the box. 5/10
Aymen Abdennour: Gave away several free-kicks and fouls due to sloppy defensive work and late tackles. 5/10
Khalil Chammam: Fought hard at the back, although never really produced any telling moments. 5/10
Issam Jemaa: Wasn't on the field long enough to make an impression as he was forced to withdraw early on due to injury.
Khaled Mouelhi: Looked to get forward when he could, but was otherwise far too busy in the middle of the park chasing down Algeria's attackers. 5/10
Mejdi Traoui: Tried his outmost to create something from the heart of Tunisia's attack, but was mainly forced to track back and defend. 6/10
Youssef M'sakni: Was surprisingly quiet for much of the game and seemed to be overwhelmed by the occasion, before scoring the match-winning goal at the death with an excellent finish. 7/10
Saber Khelifa: Made several decent runs from the right and almost scored from close-range, but lacked any real support up front. 6/10
Chadi Hammami: Struggled to make any real headway in attack and was made to work for the little ball he managed to receive. 5/10
Substitutes
Hamdi Harbaoui: Had limited chances presented from the time he was on the pitch for Jemaa, before being substituted in the second half. 6/10
Oussama Darragi: Probed in and around the front-line from the time he was introduced in the second half. 6/10
Fakhreddine Ben Youssef: Did very little to make an impression with the alloted time he had in the second stanza. 4/10
Algeria
Rais M'Bolhi: Made two brave reflex stops and looked assured at the back, only to be beaten on the stroke of full-time by a stunning shot. 6/10
Djamel Mesbah: Was constantly pushing up down the left flank in attack, or looking for a shot on goal, and delivered several good balls into the box. 7/10
Carl Medjani: Positioned himself well at the back, but gave away several silly fouls with late challenges. 6/10
Essaid Belkalem: Fulfilled his defensive duties admirably, although could've done more to prevent needless fouls. 6/10
Liassine Cadamuro: Had a reasonably quiet game in defence, before being substituted at the death in favour of a more attacking player. 5/10
Adlene Guedioura: Looked to get forward in attack as often as possible, his cannon of a right foot testing Cherifa on numerous occasions, but was forced to withdraw late on due to injury. 7/10
Medhi Lacen: Kept busy in the heart of Algeria's midfield, yet would have maybe have benefited his team more if he had pushed up sooner and set the disciplinary example as captain. 5/10
Mehdi Mostefa: Held his own in the middle of the park, but wasn't to prevalent on attack. 5/10
Foued Kadir: Linked up with his team-mates in attack from the left flank on numerous occasions, as well as trying his luck on goal, but was withdrawn late on in the second half. 6/10
Islam Slimani: Had several good chances on goal from headed attempts and was a nuisance in and around the 18-yard area. 7/10
Sofiane Feghouli: Put in one or two good passes for Slimani, but was disappointingly ineffectual and faded into the background as the match progressed. 5/10
Substitutes
Mohamed Aoudia: Made little impression from the time he was on the pitch. 4/10
El Arbi Soudani: Ran hard from the time he was brought on, but fell victim to the poor discipline of his team-mates and gave needless free-kicks. 5/10
