Kennedy Mweene: Saved a first-half penalty and was a tower of strength at the back for Chipolopolo, but was beaten in the second-half at his near post. 7/10

Davis Nkausa: Held his own in defence without making too many errors, or pushing up in attack. 6/10

Hijani Himoonda: Was assured at the back and made his presence felt up front when he could. 6/10

Stophira Sunzu: Looked to get forward as much as possible, but had trouble on occasion dealing with Saladine Said. 6/10

Joseph Musonda: Was rarely caught out of position and worked tirelessly down the left flank before his second-half substitution. 7/10

Nathan Sinkala: Looked to link up with his team-mates on attack when he could, but squandered a late chance at the death to score the winner. 6/10

Chisamba Lungu: Was ever-present in attack and looked to provide the defensive splitting ball as often as possible.

Isaac Chansa: Was ever-present in attack for the Copper Bullets and provided much needed maturity up front before his second-half substitution. 7/10

Rainford Kalaba: Made several good runs on attack and was a constant threat through the 90 minutes. 7/10

Collins Mbesuma: Scored a great goal to initially give the Copper Bullets the lead, and was a real work-horse inside the 18-yard area. 8/10

Christopher Katongo: A constant terrier in and around the box as he lead from the front, and was Zambia's main link-man before his second-half substitution. 7/10

Substitutes:

Jacob Mulenga: Was a constant threat on attack following his introduction into the match. 6/10

Emmanuel Mayuka: Looked for work up front as best he could with the time allotted to him in the second-half. 5/10

Mukuka Mulenga: Made a concerted effort to stamp his authority on proceedings following his arrival. 5/10

Ethiopia:

Jemal Tassew: Was red-carded for a horrendous challenge outside his box on Lungu, and failed to make any real impression on the match prior to his dismissal. 3/10

Abebaw Butaco: Battled to contain a determined attacking front-line from Zambia. 5/10

Biyadgilign Elias: Struggled to quell the attacking surges from Chipolopolo. 5/10

Aynalem Hailu: Was made to work hard at the back for the Antelopes. 5/10

Seyom Tesfaye: Found it tough going keeping a dogged attack at bay. 5/10

Shimeles Bekele: Looked to get forward when he could, before his forced substitution for Tessew. 5/10

Asrat Megersa: Overwhelmed in the middle of the park for much of the encounter. 5/10

Adane Grima: Had a quiet first half, but scored the equaliser in the second period after pushing up field more often. 7/10

Menyahel Teshome: Failed to assert his authority in attack and was duly substituted late on. 6/10

Getaneh Kebede: Worked hard up front to no avail, and came off in the second period. 6/10

Saladine Said: Was the Antelopes' most promising threat with several good runs, but had his penalty saved which would've given them the lead inside the first 45 minutes. 7/10

Substitutes:

Addis Hintsa: Looked for work pushing forward and linked up well with Said for Grima's equalising strike. 6/10

Zerihun Tadelle: Held his own between the sticks following his unexpected introduction to the encounter, but was beaten from close-range. 5/10

Fuad Ibrahim: A tactical substitution introduced too late to make any real impression on the match.
