The tournament favourites were held to a 2-2 draw by the Democratic Republic of Congo on Sunday in their first 2013 Africa Cup of Nations game and resumed training on Monday without the duo.

Coach Kwesi Appiah revealed that despite taking knocks during their last match, the pair have been resting and should be ready for their upcoming clash.

"Asamoah Gyan and Mubarak Wakaso, they had some few knocks yesterday and we decided that they rest today but hopefully they should train tomorrow," he told MTNfootball.

Kickoff is at 5pm at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium.
