The 64-year-old Frenchman managed to avert a crisis just days before the Leopards were due to travel to Port Elizabeth for their opening clash.
The averted crisis was reportedly due to a disagreement over bonus payments, but that issue has now been put to bed.
Le Roy told RFI: "I never announced I was resigning, but I was very bitter to see that all our work had been screwed up (by the crisis over unpaid bonuses).
"It is mad, devastating to wreck a preparation like this, with such a lack of respect. They are talking of players as if they were children whereas they are adults."
And Omari Selemani, president of DR Congo's Football Federation, insists that "everything is fine" after meeting with Le Roy and the players on Friday.
He told BBC Sport: "Claude is still the coach and will be in the dugout against Ghana.
"I had a working meeting with Claude this afternoon (Friday) and everything is fine. I also met with the players and there is no problem."
According to DR Congo's Sports Minister Banza Mukalay, the delay in the payment of bonuses was due to two consecutive national holidays in the central African nation.
Mukalay explained: "It's true that we haven't cleared the payment for the people added.
"This is due to the fact that we've had two consecutive national holidays, which the payment procedures had to respect. The government didn't refuse to pay.
"Before the government paid all payments it has been asked to - including the preparatory trips to Morocco and Oman, and even all the bonuses they have asked for the group stage matches."
