Black Stars midfielders Isaac Vorsah, Anthony Annan, Rabiu Mohammed and Albert Adomah are all nursing injuries they sustained during the team's training camp in Abu Dhabi.
Ghana, one of the pre-tournament favourites, kick-off their AFCON campaign against the Democratic Republic of Congo this Sunday, and Kwesi Appiah's number-two is hopeful of entering the competition with a fully fit squad.
"We pray that nobody picks up an injury that prevents him from being part of the games. That's our only concern. We believe that if all these boys are fit, their level of readiness is unbelievable. So we just pray that nobody picks up any serious injury," Konadu told the Ghana FA's official website.
Black Stars team doctor Baba Adamu played down the injuries and expects all the players to be ready by today (Thursday) for their first training session in Port Elizabeth (PE).
"Isaac had a knock on his right thigh, Annan had a twist on his left ankle joint; Rabiu had a knock on his thigh too. On the whole, we're working around the clock. Hopefully by Thursday, they should be up and doing," said Adamu.
"Apart from those I have mentioned, the rest have a clean sheet of fitness to play the game on Sunday."
Ghana follow up their opening Group B clash against DR Congo with a tie against Mali four days later, and complete first-round against Niger, all in PE.
