The West Africans clash with Togo next Tuesday in their opening match of the African showpiece, before facing Tunisia and Algeria in their remaining Group D matches.
Lamouchi, who has already played down the Elephants' recent 4-2 win over Egypt in a warm-up match, is at pains to emphasise the enormity of booking a spot in the last-eight for the Ivorians.
"It is unquestionably the most difficult group and we got three fearsome opponents," said Lamouchi.
"(But) we were favourites before the draw and still are. Now we must deliver on the pitch."
Cote d'Ivoire lost out to Zambia in the AFCON final last year on penalties.
