2013 Africa Cup of Nations contestant Burkina Faso take part in their very first pre-tournament match this Thursday against Niger, just four days ahead of their first Group C clash with Nigeria.

While other nations were preparing week in and out with warm-up matches against other AFCON opponents as well as Premier Soccer League clubs, the Stallions were working on their tactical preparation.
They are also planning to take on PSL champions Orlando Pirates.
"It gives us now a good chance to try and implement the tactical and technical stuff that we have been working on in our training," Burkina Faso coach Paul Put said.
The Burkinabe will also face Ethiopia and defending champions Zambia in Group C, which takes place at the Mbombela Stadium in Nelspruit.
