The Bafana Bafana shot-stopper has been out of action for the last three weeks, with the injury also ruling him out of the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations, which kicks off on Saturday.

However, Buccaneers physiotherapist John Williams confirmed the 32-year-old is back in training with the Sea Robbers and should be ready for the resumption of the Premiership campaign in February.

"It was a recurring injury (Josephs) had, but it was nothing serious. He is back at training and everything else is in the hands of the technical team; from our side, he is injury free," Williams told the club's official website.

Pirates coach Roger de Sa added: "I am glad to have him back in the team. We have started preparations for our next matches and we will need good re-enforcements in certain departments.

"He is a key player in the team and I am happy to have him back at training."
