Chamanga played for Bush Bucks, three-time champions SuperSport United as well as Moroka Swallows during a three-year stay in the Premier Soccer League.

"We are going into a territory where we know a lot of things the fields," Chamanga told MTNFootball.com.

"We are familiar with many things so the atmosphere is good," said the former Dube Birds hitman who once netted five goals for them in an Absa Premiership match against Platinum Stars in 2007, a game which Swallows won 6-2.

This will be Chamanga's fifth AFCON, and the 2012 champions begin their defence against Ethiopia on the 21st of January. Thereafter they face Nigeria and Burkina Faso with all their games taking place at the Mbombela Stadium in Nelspruit.
