Despite missing their talented forward, Angola downed the defending champs 2-0 at the Dobsonville Stadium in Soweto.

There is no doubt the former Manchester United player will take part in the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations tournament which Angola kick off against Morocco on January 19.

It was Manucho who guaranteed Palancas Negras' place at the tournament, netting twice against Zimbabwe in a decisive qualification match at home late last year. He was Angola's leading scorer at the 2012 edition of the tournament.

Midfielder Djalma Campos is being treated for an old injury while striker Yanos is suffering from a viral infection; however, they are being treated urgently to make the final squad.

Coach Gustavo Ferrin is instructing his squad to undertake two training sessions a day after identifying areas of concern in their victory against the defending champs.
