The Fenerbahce defender is already the most-capped Super Eagles player with 89 appearances, and has starred at the 2002, 2004, 2006, 2008 and 2010 editions of the Africa Cup of Nations.
And ahead his team's final warm-up match ahead of the tournament, against Cape Verde, Yobo told MTN Football: "I have been blessed. Words cannot quantify God's blessings on me.
"Attending my sixth Nations Cup will be great and we will give it our best shot."
Despite his numerous appearances at the continental championships, Yobo only has a bronze medal to show for his participation, but he is looking to rectify that in South Africa.
He added: "It's not going to be easy (to win the trophy). We therefore urge Nigerians to keep praying for us and believe in this team."
