The former Warriors skipper was receiving treatment at the hospital in Bulawayo following a car accident that claimed the life of his brother Adam, earlier this month.

The ex-Coventry City striker was in high spirits when released from the ICU according to his eldest brother Madinda Ndlovu, who is considering taking his sibling back to the UK to continue his recovery.

"I think it is good to have him at home," Madinda said.

"And as I said earlier on we are thinking of flying him to England for further treatment.

"We are grateful to all those who have helped us during this tragic time in our family. We now have to focus on seeing that Peter is fully recovered and back on his feet."
