Ethiopia coach Sewnet Bishaw omitted five players from his 31-man provisional squad prior to their 1-0 defeat of Niger in an AFCON warm-up match.

Mulualem Mesfin (Arba Minch City), Medhane Tadesse (Defence Force), David Beshah (TSC Euskirchen, Germany), Fitsum Mariam (St. George) and Fitsum Teferi (Commercial Bank) are the axed players.
Meanwhile, the Antelopes won their warm-up against the Mena courtesy of Getaneh Kebede's 37th-minute strike in Addis Ababa on Sunday.
Bishaw will drop a further three players from his squad for the continental showpiece following further warm-up games against Tunisia and Guinea.
Ethiopia have been drawn in Group C alongside champions Zambia, Nigeria and Burkina Faso.
The last time the East African country featured at AFCON was 31 years ago.
