The Copper Bullets lifted their first-ever major title at the beginning of 2012 after seeing off Ivory Coast on penalties in the final after 120 minutes had finished 1-1.

Sunzu, who made Zambian history by scoring the winning spot-kick against the Elephants, believes the Super Eagles are a side that deserve the utmost respect on the field.

"We are the champions of Africa right now and when we go into the game against Nigeria, we have to summon the courage to fight them all-through. They are not easy to beat. Our chances rate 30 to 70," Sunzu told Tribunesport.

Meanwhile, Sunzu's Chipolopolo team-mate Rainford Kalaba added: "Every time, Nigeria, Ghana, Egypt and even Cameroon are the Nations Cup favourites.

"Sharply, we hope to turn the table against Nigeria but like I always say, both Nigeria and Zambia may end up losers if we think too much of this clash and care less of the upset Burkina Faso and Ethiopia can cause."
