Odemwingie has been in excellent form for the Baggies this season, helping to lift the squad to seventh in the league table, scoring four goals in 10 appearances.

Despite his good form for his club, his national team boss remains unsure whether he will be representing his country at the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations.

"Well let's see what happens. We cannot discuss that at the moment," Keshi told reporters in Abuja.

"We have not spoken. Let him call me first. He has not talked to me about it. We shall find out if he is going to come in on time or not.

"We haven't drawn the list. We are still drawing it and we don't even know who is on the list. Let's wait until Tuesday to know who is on the list", he explained.

Meanwhile the former Nigerian international defender heaped the praise on Fengor Ogude, who cut short his holiday to be with the squad.

"Fengor has been good in the training sessions," he said.

He is calm and focused. I appreciate him for taking off his time from his holiday to join us in training.

"In fact his wife just gave birth yesterday but he is here and this is commitment. It is wonderful. If I can get fifty per cent of my players on holiday now, it would be great."
