The Brazilians were held to a 1-1 draw by Chippa United at Athlone on Wednesday where Welcome Qalanto opened the scoring after 29 minutes before Wayne Arendse replied in the second period to earn the Brazilians a point.

After the match, the former Bafana boss said: "We are disappointed that we didn't win, but the performance was good.

"The team shows dominance. The team shows it's Sundowns. The team shows a little bit of arrogance and that's what we need.

"We came here with a lot of respect, but obviously with the intention to win. We played to win, we attacked as much as we could, I don't think there is any attack left behind.

"We did our best, we controlled the game, we dominated. We played against a team with a lot of resilience and resistance, with a well organised defence."
