The Bafana Bafana striker said the recent performances by the team had left Baxter enraged, with Amakhosi having only managed to secure six points from their last five matches, leaving Orlando Pirates and Platinum Stars just one behind.

"The main aim is to stay on top and the coach has been fighting with us a lot because he says we shouldn't relax," Parker told Football411.

"He is not happy, not necessarily with the results but with the performance - the way we have been playing has not been fully satisfying for him.

"The coach is always reminding us to stay focused - he wants consistency and that's the reason he is not entirely happy."

However, Parker, who will be available for the clash against AmaZulu on Tuesday after recovering from a twisted ankle, still feels the Englishman is steering them in the right direction.

"He's done a great job. It also helps that there are coaches who know us better. I'm referring to Doc [Khumalo], Ace [Khuse] and Arthur [Zwane]. Those three guys know our strengths and the coach, in turn, is playing us to our strengths," he said.

"Mostly, the coach doesn't focus on any negatives. All we need to do now is to stay focused on the job at hand like the coach has been saying. We must just fix some stuff and keep going."
