Zeca Marques says he completely understands the frustration Moroka Swallows' fans must be feeling, but he remains confident he can turn things around for the Soweto giants.

The Dube Birds have been in atrocious form this season, earning just one point from their last six PSL matches to sit 12th and just three points shy of the relegation zone.
Their latest tragedy was a 3-1 loss at home to SuperSport United at the weekend, a result which proved to break the camel's back in terms of the Birds supporters, who reacted furiously to Marques and his technical staff after the final whistle.
"Let me be honest with you; if I was a fan or supporter of this club, of which I am, I would be feeling exactly the same as those fans," he told the PSL's official website.
"Obviously it is frustrating because they come here, it is a night out for them and their families and then they see such performances.
"If I was paying my money and sitting on that grandstand for the kind of performances that we have been producing, then I would also be furious.
"I know exactly how those fans feel because I am also a fan and when my club loses, I don't like it. When your club loses at home just as we lost the game against SuperSport then it is understandable for you to be angry."
While acknowledging that, as a coach, he is likely to come under heavy flak from the fans, he feels the absence of key striker Siyabonga Nomvethe through injury has played a key factor in their poor run, and believes that strengthening the squad in January is necessary.
He added: "The coach is always the person that gets the blame when things don't go well and I completely understand it.
"This is part of football and we need to accept that, if things go right the team has done well, but if it goes wrong then it is the coach's fault.
"I don't like to be abused, no one likes to be abused but it is part of the game and we have to accept it. I want to see everyone happy on the stands, I want to see them enjoying good football and I want them to rejoice after every game.
"At this moment I miss so many players, it is frightening. Obviously Nomvethe gives us the edge up front and we cannot wait to have him back.
"We have seen a lot of cracks recently. We can't wait forever, if it is not me then it is another coach but we really need to strengthen especially at the back because we are just like Father Christmas. Our defence has conceded so many goals."

"I don't agree with you Zeca. You must stop using the unavailability of Nomvethe as an excuse & take advices. You have Cisse, a striker but you keep him on the stands & attack with midfielders. Why dont you give the boy a chance? He is tall, he works hard, holds the ball well and can give defenders a lot of problems. Also, stop playing our players out of position. You are not & will never be Gordon. How do you explain playing Mungomeni as a rightback when we have a natural player on that position in the form of Rudi? Nergadze in Central defence where Mungomeni should be operating. I repeat, Da Costa lacks match fitness but he is a defender so stop palying Nergadze at the back. Please watch the game againsy SS united and act before it is too late"
