The two Premier Soccer League newbies looked to be heading towards a goalless draw, before Okwuosa put the ball past his own goalkeeper to snap AmaTuks' five-match winless streak.

The result left Steve Barker's side fifth in the standings with 21 points from their opening 14 league matches, while the Chilli Boys drop into the relegation zone on goal difference.

Diego Brown had a good chance to open the scoring for Chippa early on but could only fire over the bar, while his free-kick a few minutes later forced Washington Arubi into a decent save.

Brown was pulling the strings for the visitors but seemed to forget his shooting boots as he again failed to hit target after a loose ball fell invitingly in the area.

Ayanda Lubelo almost snatched the lead for the hosts going into the break, but Daouda Kassaly was equal to his fierce drive and made a decent save.

Lubelo again came close after the break but couldn't keep his volley down as he fired over, while Dipsy Selolwane and Mame Niang also saw their respective efforts go off target.

The game seemed to be petering out to a drab stalemate, but with 30 seconds of added time remaining a mistake in the back saw Okwuosa inadvertently put the ball into the back of his own net to the dismay of the travelling supporters.
