Stars find themselves sitting in third place in the PSL standings ahead of Saturday's clash, just two points behind second-placed Orlando Pirates and five behind league leaders Kaizer Chiefs.
They are currently on a run of seven wins in their last eight games and defeated Maritzburg United 1-0 in their previous league encounter.
Arrows though, under new boss Manqoba Mngqithi, come into this tie on the back of a 2-0 win over Moroka Swallows that has surely improved their previously low morale.
Johnson told the club's official website: "I know Manqoba Mngqithi well and I know the brand of football he likes to play.
"We will have to close them down, we will have to fight for the ball. They will have gained confidence from their win over Moroka Swallows in midweek and for me they are a dangerous opponent.
"We will have prepared well and we will have Vuyo Mere, Thuso Phala and Joseph Molangoane back from suspension. We might also have Benson Mhlongo fit again after his know, we will assess him through the week."
