United got the lead in the 66th minute through Ashley Hartog, but failed to see it through as they conceded an own goal in the final minute of the match.

Matsatsantsa have seen a frustrating amount of draws this season, drawing 11 out of their 13 Premiership matches.

Hunt was under no illusions that his side should have been the victors on the night.

"We should have won the game comfortably," he said after the match.

"It was a no-contest. We were totally dominant. We had them in their half and pinned them in."

Hunt also still believes that Matsatsantsa have been much better this term than their tenth-place position on the PSL table shows.

"Of the 11 draws, we should have won eight games at least," he exclaimed.

"We were unlucky here and there, so where would those wins have taken us?"

Hunt could not fault his players, though, and has been pleased with the effort they have shown him in training.

"The players have done great, there's not much more I can ask for from them," he added.

"If you come down to training and you watch these players work, they work their socks off every day."
