Ajax Cape Town goalkeeper Sander Westerveld could be facing the axe after a costly error in Tuesday's 3-0 defeat to Kaizer Chiefs.

The Dutchman was at fault for Amakhosi's second goal after failing to deal with a shot from full-back Siboniso Gaxa.
Westerveld was also lucky to still be on the pitch as several clashes with Chiefs ace Bernard Parker could have easily resulted in a sending off for the 38-year-old.
This has lead Urban Warriors interim coach Jan Pruijn to second guess the abilities of his first-choice number one.
Pruijn is now unsure as to whether to start with Westerveld between the sticks against Maritzburg United on Friday.
"I have two days now to think about it," Pruijn told SuperSport.
"If you had asked me last week my answer would have been very clear, that he would play.
"But the second goal last night should not have been conceded, he should have dealt with it, and that is a worry."
