Ghana defender Jonathan Mensah is back in the mix to make the African Cup of Nations in South Africa next year.

The 22-year-old has returned to training with French Ligue 1 side Evian Thonon-Gaillard, having injured a thigh back in October.
The centre-back first sprung to prominence at Free State Stars before moving to Europe.
He was part of the Ghana side at the 2010 World Cup and the 2012 African Cup of Nations.
Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah had further good news in that another centre-back, Isaac Vorsah, returned to action for his Austrian side Red Bull Salzburg.
