The Dube Birds have failed to emulate the form that saw them finish as runners-up last season, with the 3-1 defeat to Maritzburg United last time out leaving the Soweto outfit tenth in the standings with 14 points from their opening 12 league matches.

Arrows, meanwhile, find themselves in a world of trouble, with the Lamontville side currently out of the relegation zone only on goal difference.

Abafana Bes'thende's last Premiership victory came at the end of October, a 2-0 success over Chippa United.

They've since followed up that result with three consecutive defeats before drawing 2-2 against SuperSport United in their most recent encounter.

In the same fixture last season's, Arrows won 2-0 at home, while Swallows exacted revenge in Soweto with a 3-2 win in the return clash.

On the team front, both coaches Manqoba Mngqithi and Zeca Marques have no new injuries to report, although the former may opt to make some changes to improve his side's fortunes.
