The Urban Warriors are thought to be keen on snapping up the 20-year old, with assistant coach Wilfred Mugeyi believed to be a key figure in luring his Zimbabwean compatriot to the Cape.
Monomotapa coach Biggie Zuze confirmed the Mother City outfit's plans, and was confident the playmaker could succeed in South Africa's top flight.
"Oh yes, there is interest in Ronald and I know he can make it if given the right chance to play," the coach told SuperSport.
"He is a good player and I think now he is well-matured to play professional football. It will be good for him and the country as well.
"We wish him all the best."
