The Monomotapa player is believed to have been spotted by Ajax's assistant coach, Zimbabwean striking legend Wilfred Mugeyi.
Monomotapa coach Biggie Zuze confirmed the interest from the Urban Warriors.
"Oh yes, there is interest in Ronald and I know he can make it if given the right chance to play he can make it," he said.
"He is a good player and I think now he is well-matured to play professional football. It will be good for him and the country as well. We wish him all the best."
The Mother City outfit currently have a fair amount of depth in midfield, its really up front where they are light on numbers.
