Administrative problems within the Ghana Football Association have resulted in a delay in payments to referees.

The problem has arisen due to a backlog of payments from the governing body's accounts department, despite the money having already been issued by the league's sponsor, Globacom, for distribution.
Each referee is paid between $120 and $110 per game.
Ghana FA chairman Kwesi Nyantakyi told SuperSport: "We have done eight games this season but referees have not been paid and I must admit that is a slight administrative mishap from the FA.
"It was a journalist who recently prompted me that referees are yet to be paid this season."
In December 2008, Glo Mobile Ghana, a subsidiary of Globacom, contracted a five-year sponsorship deal with the Premier League until the end of the 2013/14 season.
Globacom had made all necessary provisions for match official allowances and had passed the budget onto the GFA.
The man who directed the Ghanaian U20 team to victory in the 2009 FIFA World Cup in Egypt concluded: "I didn't know, because the money (Glo allocation for referees) has been made available to the accountant for some time now.
"I asked the accountant and he says he is now preparing the cheques for the referees Association."
