Dogo held the reins as interim coach for ABS following Erasmus Onuh's axing by club management, after losing 1-0 at home to rivals Enugu Rangers.

The former football professional was part of the team that helped the Nigerian side stave off relegation to finish among the top 15 clubs in the final standings last term, albeit by default.

"Last season, we escaped relegation on the last day due to the expulsion of Ocean Boys. They were our last foes at home but as a result of what happened to them, we could not play our last game of the season which we would have won to say farewell to our fans," Dogo told SuperSport.

"I've been ordered to register only 25 players for the upcoming season and I have the belief that the boys on ground would soar when the league starts.

"We are training hard everyday for us to achieve our target and by God's grace we would fight for the title next season."
