Amakhosi tasted defeat in the league for the first time this season as they went down 2-0 to Dikwena on Saturday, a result that allowed Orlando Pirates to close the gap at the top of the standings to a single point.

Baloyi, who made his first appearance this term after coming on as a substitute for Siyabonga Nkosi, says he was delighted to be back in the team, and insists the Glamour Boys are ready to return to winning ways when they hosts Ajax Cape Town on December 4.

"It was good to make a comeback in the team. I believed that I will come back and I am grateful for the technical team to give me an opportunity to show what I can offer in the team," he told Chiefs' official website.

"There is a lot of competition for places and I am going to continue working hard."

On the side's bouncebackability, he added: "We immediately put the defeat at Platinum Stars behind us after the game. It was not a nice feeling to lose the game as we are used to winning.

"It happens in football though but we are not discouraged. The journey is still very much on. In fact, we are fired up and can't wait for our next game. Our aim is to return to winning ways as soon as possible.

"We are taking it one game at a time. Our focus now is on Ajax Cape Town. The game against Platinum Stars is now history.

"I would like to call on the supporters to continue believing in this team. Let us 'Reclaim The Glory!' At Kaizer Chiefs we win together and lose together."
