Rangers were sent down to the country's second tier following their relegation last season, but their bid to earn automatic promotion will be strongly aided by the deal.
The Nairobi-based club's chairman Yobesh Ongeri confirmed a contract was in place, but refused to divulge any details.
"After months of negotiations I can confirm that a deal has been reached between Rangers FC and the Postal Corporation of Kenya," he said.
"The corporation, however, will not be making the financial commitment as yet. They requested to assess a number of issues first but what we are assured of is a sponsorship.
"As the chairman I should say I am happy with this because it will help ease the financial burden at the club while we play in Division One and it also sets a challenge to the players that they have only one season to play down there.
"The team should be back in the Premier League in 2014."
