The side finished the recently concluded Kenyan domestic season in third, three points behind champions Tusker, while several of the team members have been found guilty of indiscipline on several occasions.

That led to the dismissal of a host of players, namely Jimmy Bageya, Emmanuel Tostao, Shaban Abdul, Samuel Misse Mwangi, Laurent Tumba, Brian Masiolo, Amon Muchiri, Mohammed Fwaya, and Robert Syongo.

"We have been trying to salvage the team in terms of discipline - some of our players have been accused of immoral behaviors while others are not performing," club chairman Alex Ole Magelo told SuperSport.

"We want to form a strong team which will be able to deliver and compete strongly with our opponent - that's why we have decided to drop the named players. We want trophies nothing else. We intend to sign a couple of players in the forthcoming transfer window."

Leopards have also sacked all of the technical members, including coach Jan Koops and his two assistants Mickey Weche and Nicholas Muyoti.
