Fans of Phunya Sele Sele could have expected their side to still be coming down from a high after their momentous achievement, when they took to the field at the King Zwelithini Stadium, but Thabo Nthethe netted in injury time to secure his side all three points.
After the match, Larsen told the PSL's official website: "I think everybody was waiting to point fingers that Celtic have one eye on the cup. It's usually the case when a team makes a final (there's a bit of a hangover).
"But the boys never stopped trying tonight and that's the sort of spirit we've instilled in them. And considering the players that were missing, the boys did the club very proud."
Larsen gave credit to Arrows for their spirited showing and admitted his side were a bit lucky with the goal they scored.
"I think in the first half we were by far the better team. In the second half we were quite competitive for the first 15 minutes and then the last half hour belonged to Arrows.
"Credit must go to them, they came back into the game and they pegged us back.
"It was very unfortunate for them that the goal went in the way it did, but we've also been victim to late goals in the past, so it's good we've been having a little bit of luck of late."
