Kwesi Appiah's Black Stars will come up against the Carthage Eagles in Abu Dhabi on January 13, with the South African showpiece kicking off six days later.
"As part of our preparations for the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations we have agreed to play Tunisia in a friendly in January," Ghana Football Association president Kwesi Nyantakyi said in a press statement.
"The match will be played in Abu Dhabi where Ghana will be camping for the tournament.
"We want to leave no stone unturned in our preparation so a match against one of the top sides in Africa like Tunisia will give the Black Stars the needed test for the Nations Cup."
