Ea Lla Koto saw their Ziwa Mo cup run come to an end at the semi-final stage after going down 3-2 in extra-time to Bloemfontein Celtic in Sunday's Free State derby.
Steve Komphela's men must now quickly put that loss behind them as they look to improve on their ninth-place standing in the PSL, with the side having earned just 13 points from their opening 10 league matches this term.
Stars, however, face a tough test in the form of AmaTuks, who have enjoyed a stunning start to life in the top-flight.
Steve Barker's charges currently sit fifth with 16 points, although they lay some eight points behind leaders Kaizer Chiefs.
In team news, Stars are without Luyolo Nomandela, who is serving a match ban, while Tuks will have to do without Buhle Mkhwanazi and Mame Niang, who are both also suspended for the tie.
