Ea Lla Koto had twice come from behind to force extra-time in the semi-final against Bloemfontein Celtic, but Joel Mogorosi's strike proved the difference as Siwelele progressed to the final with a 3-2 victory.

Speaking after the match, the Zambia shot-stopper said: "I don't even know what to say, but what a game. We made some silly mistakes and they punished us. We came back, but we still gave them chances to come back again.

"We should have finished the match but it was one of those games. It wasn't meant to be our day, we just have to focus ahead and on the league."

Stars will be looking to bounce back from the defeat when they host University of Pretoria in the PSL on Wednesday evening.
