United face neighbouring rivals Downs at the Peter Mokaba Stadium for their semi-final encounter over the weekend.
Matsatsantsa will be determined to progress to the Ziwa Mo final having missed out to Moroka Swallows in the MTN8 showpiece earlier in the season.
But Hunt's men have battled to get off the ground in the Premiership this term, sitting 11th in the table courtesy of a worrying eight draws from ten matches.
They also come off a 2-1 defeat to league leaders Kaizer Chiefs last time out.
Yet, Hunt won't let the Brazilians' horrendous domestic form - they're last in the standings - lull him or his team into complacency.
"I'm sure that Sundowns will want to win it as much as us," the three-time PSL winning tactician told the media ahead of Saturday's crunch tie.
"(But) we have to try and worry about what we have to do. We haven't been winning lately, so we hope to get a good result:"
"We have been doing well in the cup matches but not in the league games."
"Since both Chiefs and Pirates are out, it's an opportunity for any of remaining sides to win some money."
Meanwhile, United skipper Thabo September reckons he and his team-mates owe it to Hunt to pull a win out the bag.
He added: "The coach has done a lot for the team and he is the boss. He brings the best out of us. His will to win games drives the players to always play to win.
"We have won titles under him , so we know what he expects from us a players."
