The South African Football Association have confirmed the two boys who allegedly stoned Zambia's team bus on Wednesday have been taken into custody by police.

The children, ages 12 and 13, had pelted the vehicle with stones following the Copper Bullets' 1-0 win over Bafana Bafana in the Nelson Mandela Challenge in midweek.
Chipolopolo goalkeeper Kennedy Mweene is also believed to have taken a blow to his face, leaving the footballing community in shock over the developments.
"We can confirm the incident took place and the perpetrators who pelted the Zambian bus, two young boys, were confined by police," SAFA spokesman Dominic Chimhavi said.
Meanwhile, Brigadier Neville Malil told The Sowetan: "The boys were taken into custody on Wednesday night. One was released into the custody of his parents and the other was taken to a place of safety.
"Investigations continue and police are looking for two other minors who threw the bus with stones outside the stadium. One window was broken."
