The sides looked to be heading towards a goalless draw at the Free State Stadium, but Manzini popped up in the dying moments to snatch his side all three points.

The result takes Celtic to joint-eighth in the standings with 13 points from their opening 10 PSL games, while Usuthu are just one point and one place above the relegation zone.

The first-half proved a scoreless affair, although the sides weren't without their chances, with Marc van Heerden threatening for the visitors but seeing his fierce drive well saved by Patrick Tignyemb.

Sifiso Dlamini looked destined to open the scoring after 14 minutes after rounding the goalkeeper, but his touch let him down and he instead opted to try and deceive the referee, but he was having none of it and dived the AmaZulu man for simulation.

Chances were at a premium in the second half as neither goalkeeper was truly tested, however, one minute into added-time the hosts struck the killer blow, Manzini latching onto Ruzaigh Gamaldien's headed pass to smash his shot past the goalkeeper.
