Usuthu earned all three points courtesy of Marc Van Heerden's 79th-minute penalty at the King Zwelithini Stadium on Wednesday.

Prior to kick-off, AmaTuks were in second place in the standings but have since been overtaken by Orlando Pirates, Platinum Stars and Maritzburg United.

Barker wanted at least a point from the midweek clash and was unimpressed with the officiating on the night.

He took particular displeasure to the second yellow card shown to defender Buhle Mkhwanazi which lead to Van Heerden's spot-kick.

"I don't know what's the best way to put it, but I believe a lot of home town decisions went against us," Barker said after the match.

"In my opinion it was not the best officiating I have seen.

"I spoke to the player and there was no contact, so what can you do.

"But at the end of the day we gave it our best and we were unlucky not to come away with at least a point."
