Amakhosi currently top the standings with 18 points from their eight matches played thus far, but were held to a 1-1 draw with Maritzburg United after tying 0-0 with Bloemfontein Celtic.
The Soweto giants were also 3-2 losers to Bidvest Wits in their Telkom Knockout encounter over the weekend.
Chiefs play Golden Arrows on Tuesday evening with Ritchie backing his team to rediscover their early-season form.
He told SuperSport: "We remain unbeaten in the league which is good, but we need to start winning again."
Ritchie made his first appearance of the season in the draw with the Team of Choice, where a 97th-minute equaliser thwarted Stuart Baxter's troops.
He added: "It was disappointing at the end of the day that we drew the game after taking a lead in the first half.
"We also created lots of chances to win the game but it was not to be. It was unfortunate that they (Maritzburg) came back to equalise right at the death.
"We have a tough game against Arrows in Polokwane, but it is important we get back to winning ways.
"We need to keep focused on the job at hand as we all know that Arrows is never an easy side to play against, but we are confident going into the match."
