Pruijn was brought in as interim boss at Ikamva following the sacking of Maarten Stekelenburg earlier in this term and has since led the side to a win and a draw from his two matches in charge.

Those results took the Urban Warriors to 13th in the standings, three points above the relegation zone, and Comitis revealed he is happy to keep the Dutchman at the club.

"Ajax Cape Town is happy with the performance of the team since Jan Pruijn took charge and to maintain the momentum of recent performances, Jan will remain in charge of the team," Comitis said on Monday.

Ajax are next in action against Free State Stars at the Charles Mopeli Stadium on Wednesday evening.
