Phunya Sele Sele last tasted cup glory in 2005 when lifting the SAA Supa8 Cup, now the MTN8, but face a daunting task in progressing past the Telkom Knockout quarter-finals as they face the defending champions on Sunday.
Siwelele did, however, see off Roger de Sa's men in the PSL at the end of September, and Tignyemb is confident they can once again topple the double-treble champions.
"We're ready and we're looking forward to the match and it's going to be a great occasion for everybody," the gloveman told his club's official website.
"But you can only enjoy it if you win it. We'll go all out for a win on Sunday and take another step towards ending our cup drought.
"We want to lift the Telkom Knockout cup on December 1. Hopefully we can achieve success and if we can do that, then great.
"I think cup glory is very important. Everybody dreams about that as a kid, whether as players, managers, coaches or fans. Winning this trophy will mean a lot to our loyal fans.
"We want to give them an early Christmas gift. Every year you enter these cup competitions, you hope that you can win them and failure to do so will not be due to a lack of will."
