The Urban Warriors played out a goalless draw against Bidvest Wits in Braamfontein on Tuesday evening as Losper played another 90 minutes for interim coach Jan Pruijn.

The 20-year-old former Ajax youth player has five starts to his name since Pruijn took over six matches ago, and is eager to start paying back the faith shown in him by the coach.

"In this team nobody is guaranteed a place in the line-up and therefore everybody is working hard, and I'm glad to be on the receiving end of the hard work," Losper told Football411.

"I think now I know my position in the team very well and have been working really hard on my defensive work which is an aspect of my game that needed improvement.

"Nevertheless, I can never be satisfied. I'm still new in the PSL and this is actually my first full season, so I'm looking for at least fifteen starts and then I can say I am happy with myself."

The midfielder also went on to mention how he has been working on his finishing in front of goal as he looks to help the club thwart the threat of relegation.

He added: "I know I have been getting some decent goal-scoring opportunities, but when I get the chance I'm too excited and lose focus and end up failing to convert.

"But the coach spoke to me about it and we are working on it at training.

"Obviously I would love to score some goals and see the team climbing of the relegation zone," he concluded.

Ajax's next appointment is a Cape derby against Chippa United on Friday night.
